EFС AC-32 series of charging stations

EcoFactor Charge has developed a hardware and software platform that provides incredible flexibility in creating smart chargers of any complexity, from simple solutions, to systems with biometric authentication (face recognition, voice control, fingerprint scanning).

High performance industrial-scale multi-core processor running Linux, combined with low-level, real-time controllers, provide high reliability, security, and virtually limitless possibilities for building highly integrated systems.

Currently two variants of stationary charging stations are commercially available:

The first option is one port

Model EFС AC-32MSB. The connection of the car is via a three-phase outlet of the European standard IEC62196-2 and allows to charge cars with a European connector with a power up to 22 kW, or with an American connector – a power up to 7 kW. In both cases, the user must have a charging cord depending on the type of connection required.

The second option is three ports

Model EFС AC-32J2M1SB. The vehicles are connected via one European standard IEC62196-2 (7 kW) socket and two J1772 (2 x 7 kW) American standard connectors. The station allows you to charge three cars at the same time, two cords directly from the station and one through the socket using your own cord, depending on the type of charging port.

Both models have the European standard IEC62196-2 socket with built-in electromechanical lock, which will not only protect the user from electric shock, but also protect your charging cord from intruders.


  • The first commercial implementation of the new platform is 22 kW AC charging stations.

  • The stations are intended for charging electric cars and plug-in hybrids with single and three-phase alternating current, allowing to transmit power up to 22 kW.

  • The stations ensure a secure connection of the vehicle to the network in accordance with IEC 61851.

  • The devices are made in a metal housing and are intended for outdoor installation. They can be mounted on vertical surfaces or special support structures.

Stationary charging station design:

  • Structurally, the stations are made in the form of monoblocks. The two-level sealing system provides reliable protection against adverse weather conditions, and the modular solutions allow to provide various requirements for a complete set of our product. Connection to the AC mains is provided without access to the main unit and is made under a protective casing in the form of a five-pin terminal block, which implies connection of the cable with a cross section up to 16mm2.

  • The vandal-proof housing is made of sheet metal 1.5 mm thick and coated with weather-resistant powder enamel.

  • The status of the station can be viewed on a large display, allowing you to see the information perfectly in the evening as well as in direct sunlight. Built-in contactless card reader will allow you to authorize the user and access the charge. LAN and 3G / GPRS interfaces are used to communicate with the operator.

The station provides reliable protection and safety during the charge of the car, subject to the rules of operation.

It is designed for long-term use and is provided with a one-year warranty and after-sales service.

Our devices are “smart” elements of systems. They are intended for implementation both in existing networks and in construction of new ones. Allows you to charge your car at a convenient time, with different authorization options, for commercial, corporate or home use.


They can work in systems with dynamic load balancing, both in the local mode and in the composition of the global networks, distributing the load on the whole power system. The algorithm of load sharing between ports, timing and capacity, as well as local authorization without network connection, make our stations an indispensable element in the design and construction of modern infrastructure solutions.


All the devices on our platform except the main channel of communication with the provider of power systems, have additional service channels that provide automatic updating of the software of the platform and the operating system, and the flexible configurator of station settings without physical access to them, allows you to comfortably perform fine-tuning for any – what are the tasks.

Advantages of EcoFactor Charge Charging Stations

The device controls the safety – will interrupt or limit the supply of electric current when:

  • Lack of grounding (control can be switched off in expert mode);

  • Electric leakage of more than 30 mA;

  • Exceeding the current of 25% (intelligent fuse);

  • Overvoltage in the network more than 265V;

  • Excessive temperatures above 65C, inside the charging unit;

  • Charging plug overheating more than 40C since charging start.

To improve reliability after production and before sale, the station undergoes multi-level verification:

  • Testing on a test stand, simulation of all freelance modes and testing of protection;

  • Maximum current test – car charge for 30 min;

  • Vibration test during full charge;

  • Control of heating by thermal imager under load (detection of potential faults in the future);
  • Continuous charge-free run for at least 100 hours;

  • Sealing and pre-sale control;

  • The final test on the car.
